Take a Tour of the New Construction Innovations Center
The College of Architecture and Environmental Design opened the $33 million Construction Innovations Center this Fall and broke ground for the new Simpson Strong-Tie Materials Demonstration Lab. At the heart of the Center is a 30,000 square foot facility built around Construction Management curriculum with 12 project-based labs that facilitate interdisciplinary research and education among all five majors within the college. The building also features new classrooms, faculty offices and headquarters for the California Center for Construction Education which provides public and custom in-house continuing education.
