DESCRIPTION: Opening Day at Del Mar is a fun way for Cal Poly Alumni and friends to get together and participate in the annual Opening Day festivities at the Del Mar Racetrack on Wednesday, July 21st. Ladies are encouraged to participate in  The One and Only Truly Fabulous Hats Contest on opening day!Men should suit up!    Where and When: Meet up with us at the Santa Fe Station  on July 21st at 9AM , corner of Broadway and Kettner, to board Amtrak 769.  The train departs at 9:30 AM for Solona Beach.  We'll all take the shuttle from there to the fairgrounds.Alternative:  Meet us at the Del Mar Fair Grounds.  Gates open at 11:30AM and a big crowd is expected, so be early!!
